Ripple[XRP] updated its website yesterdaywith the latest developments and use cases of the platform. One of the most startling discovery revealed on their website is that Ripple has a throughput capacity of 50,000 transactions per second.

Some people believe it is made possible through Ripple’s Payment Channel, the Inter Ledger Protocol (ILP), on which Ripple published a blog last year. Although it is interesting to note,  Ripple hasn’t publicly announced that they are now in a position to serve 50,000 tx/sec. They only updated the value on their website.

Ripple listing on Coinbase?

Coinbase has recently revamped their token listing procedure. A new token can fill a form out on their website, and once community approves, the token can be listed. Investors can’t help but speculate, whether this time Coinbase would list Ripple (XRP) on their platform.

Coinbase had rejected Ripple’s proposal to get themselves listed on Coinbase, on the grounds that Ripple is a centralized technology while Coinbase has committed itself to only pure decentralized blockchains. Coinbase was offered $1 Million by Ripple to list them.
