The Tron Virtual Machine [TVM] is set to launch in less than a day’s time. Here’s all you need to know about Justin Sun and Tron [TRX]’s next big step.
The Tron Virtual Machine is a virtualized environment that performs similar functions to those of a VM on a database. It is a Turing-complete VM for use on the Tron blockchain, which means that it is a system in which a program can be written that will find an answer.
The launch of the TVM will provide millions of global developers with a custom-built blockchain system, and a unique way of connecting with an existing ecosystem for development. TVM is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine, allowing for programmers to utilize Solidity to continue coding on TVM without having to learn a new programming language.
They can build and execute smart contracts in a mixed environment, thus reducing development time and cost. Notably, TVM also supports Distributed Proof of Stake [DPoS], which is its Consensus Mechanism. Tronix will know it as the Super Representative system put in place to achieve the production of blocks.
The Tron Virtual Machine [TVM] will be compatible with more VMs in the future. This further increases the support for developers on the Tron blockchain in the future.
Interestingly, the operations of transactions or smart contracts on the TVm do not consume gas like EVM and are free. This means that the executable computational capacity of the virtual machine is not limited by the amount of gas tokens on the blockchain.
Instead, the execution of these contracts utilizes a system of allocating bandwidth, which will be released after a certain point in time after its completion. This will protect it from spam attacks as seen on the Ethereum blockchain.
